No, I'm not aware of anything required externally for this appliction.

I tried to install this application in Windows Sandbox with the command msiexec /i cloud-pbx-2.0-msi-v-42.2.msi /qb (to see if any error messages would appear) and it seems to install correctly on my end.
I closed the Windows Sandbox, opened it again, and then tried using the command msiexec /i cloud-pbx-2.0-msi-v-42.2.msi /qn and that worked too.

My steps are:

• Open Windows Sandbox
• Open cmd.exe
• Navigate to the Downloads directory: cd Downloads
• Download Telekom CloudPBX: curl --output cloud-pbx-2.0-msi-v-46.2.msi https://cpbx-hilfe.deutschland-lan.de/downloads/desktop-clients/cloud-pbx-2.0-msi-v-46.2
• Attempt to install the application: msiexec /i cloud-pbx-2.0-msi-v-42.2.msi /qn
  • Note: For some reason, it takes a long time for the installation to start in Windows Sandbox.
• Once the installation appears to have completed, run the application.
• Attempt to uninstall the application: msiexec /x cloud-pbx-2.0-msi-v-42.2.msi /qn

Is there anything else I can try to confirm that it is working correctly? I'm assuming that my two tests with msiexec are not going to be enough to vaildate this installation.

Could you please try creating a manifest via Komac or Tools/YamlCreate.ps, and then launch Windows Sandbox via Tools/SandboxTest.ps1?

In system locales other than en-US (and probably de, I haven't tried), this installer would look for a transform file at startup, and failed if it doesn't exist.

msiexec doesn't support relative path. You need to either provide a full absolute path, or just the file name (with no preceding ./).

Nice find @SpecterShell, the installation fails with the same error message that @Dragon1573 is recieving when using msiexec with a relative path like .\cloud-pbx-2.0-msi-v-46.2.msi. If using just the file name (like this: msiexec /i cloud-pbx-2.0-msi-v-42.2.msi /qb) it works.

Since I'm using zh-CN locale, I think it might be the case ...

On a test device, I changed the Windows display lanaguage to zh-CN and recieve the same error message as you:

I translated the message and it seems to translate to, "Unable to apply conversion program. Please check if the specified conversion program path is valid."
I think this error message in English is, "Error applying transforms. Verify that the transform paths are valid."

For completeness, I also tried with the locale set to de-DE and that worked.
This points to what SpectorShell mentionned before. The installer is probably looking for a transforms file at startup, and is failing because it doesn't find one for zh-CN.
