AI Engineer focused on applied AI for smarter, safer construction
Assistant Professor at the University of New Haven
Ph.D. in Civil Engineering | M.S. in Data Science (Expected Spring 2026)
I build AI systems for construction safety, inspection, document intelligence, and operational decision support. From Civil Engineering to Construction Management, an MBA, and now Data Science, my journey reflects how much I love learning, adapting, and growing across disciplines.
- Multimodal AI for construction workflows
- Construction safety, hazard analysis, and field decision support
- Computer vision and vision-language systems
- Document intelligence and grounded LLM applications
- Inspection automation, infrastructure monitoring, and AI product prototyping
A multimodal AI application for construction site image analysis and safety-oriented report generation. It combines image input and field context to produce structured preliminary safety observations, PPE guidance, supervisor follow-up questions, toolbox talk points, and report-ready summaries.

A document intelligence application for uploading construction documents and asking grounded questions in plain English. It generates document summaries, direct answers, supporting excerpts, follow-up questions, and report-ready outputs from specs, manuals, and method statements.

I have worked on many more AI and engineering projects than what is visible here. A large portion of that work cannot be shared publicly because of funding restrictions, ownership, collaboration agreements, or client constraints. I still try to keep GitHub updated with representative public projects that reflect the kinds of systems I build and the problems I work on.
I make one of the best baklavas in the world, and yes, precision matters everywhere.
